School Holiday Flower Therapy Workshop for Tweens to Teens

This workshop is designed for tweens to teens. It's a fun, creative and beautiful half day posy making workshop where the students can attend on their own and will create two posies: one to be paid forward to a family at Ronald McDonald House and one to take home and share with their family.

Snacks, flowers and tools required will be provided. We'll have one of the Newcastle Ronald McDonald Directors attend and share with the students insights and stories of what it's like to be a child or family living at Ronald McDonald House. The students will then create a posy to be donated to each of the families staying at Ronald McDonald House with a note of gratitude or well wishes. They'll then reflect on what they're grateful for and create a second posy to take home for their family to enjoy, including a card for them to write what they're grateful for.

This workshop is run by two facilitators both with current working with children checks and one is a qualified English teacher.
